Terms of Service

Last updated: August 13, 2026

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Storno. By creating an account or using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

The service

Storno analyzes documents and (on paid plans) email you provide, identifies fees that may be worth disputing, and coaches you through disputing them. Analyses are AI-generated and may contain errors — review them before acting.

Not legal advice

Storno provides general self-advocacy information, not legal advice, and no attorney-client relationship is created. Outcomes are not guaranteed. For legal questions about your situation, consult a licensed attorney.

Your responsibilities

Only submit documents and connect accounts you own or are authorized to use. Don't use the service to pursue claims you know to be false — we build cases on evidence, and so should you.

Sensitive information in documents you upload

Before storing or analyzing anything you upload, we automatically attempt to detect and redact Social Security numbers, dates of birth, full names, and home addresses. This automated detection is best-effort and is not guaranteed to catch every instance — particularly information that isn't clearly labeled in the document. Account numbers are shown to you in full and are not redacted by default, because you need them to reference your own account.

You are solely responsible for reviewing any document before uploading it and removing or redacting your own sensitive personal information — especially your Social Security number — yourself. You assume all risk and liability arising from uploading a document containing personal information, including information our automated redaction fails to catch. See our FAQ for details on how this works.

Billing

Paid plans bill monthly through Stripe and can be canceled anytime from Settings; access continues to the end of the paid period. Plan limits (analyses per month, AI usage) are described on the pricing page and enforced in-product.

Liability

The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
